I have a 16 yr old exmark with 460v ms14 Kawasaki engine. Two or 3 years ago started flooding at cold crank ; just removed carb everything looks good. float level; nothing to adjust? needle value leak? thanks for any help.
The needle valve is one of the first things I replace for a flooding problem. Don't forget to also replace the fuel and air filters.
A long shot, but from another era we used to get leaky floats which would fill up and you could not detect it by shaking them. This ruined their buoyancy so the float could not cut off the fuel.
