engine will not stay running

have a cub cadetsc500 21 inch electric start mower with the following engine 2P70MU have cleaned carb it will start and run for a few seconds acting like not getting gas, so put a new carb on it and it does the same thiing, will not stay runnung like it is not getting gas
any help would very greatful thank in advance

Are you getting good gas flow from the fuel tank through the fuel hose.

what does this mean? How does it run or sound?

Remove the gas cap, and try again. If the vent on the cap is plugged, it will crank, but won't run long.

If it has a choke, verify that it is on (closed) when the engine is off and cold. Verify that it is off (open) after the engine starts.

replaced all gaskets and put a new carb took care of problem
