Do not get rid of OEM carburetor unless last result and cannot get it to run (in the future). Use carburetor spray, and air compressor on fuel filter, reinstall, will be fine. I do it all the time.We live in a rural part of our county. And gasoline is expensive, so I bought this which appears to have the same fuel filter as the oem which I just removed and cleaned from my blower:
