Did you do the simple thing like checking the spark arrester to see if it is clogged? One of the first things to check on hard starting 2- cycle engines.

Hi,
Thanks, yes I mentioned that.

I will see what happens when I get the pressure tester tomorrow, but if good...

I'm out of ideas, do not see anything, I'm missing?

You said you checked the muffler, but did you disassemble it and check the muffler spark arrester screen.

What Rivets is asking is have you checked item #19? I assumed you did.

Hi,
Well... Got my pressure tester in and this thing passes pressure and vacuum tests with flying colors? (Holds 7 PSI, steady as a rock!)

I'm going to put it back together and try it again.

If it still does not work, I have a Buddy that owns a Lawn Mower Shop and will see what he can find.

I feel like I'm missing something, but do not know what it is???

Have tried putting the piston at TDC and seeing where the flywheel magnets line up with the ignition coil?

Hi,
No, but just did!

Here is a pic, marked location of magnets on flywheel then set to TDC...

About an inch from edge of magnet to edge of nearest coil leg.

This flywheel has an internal (built in) key and looks fine?
