Hello from Texas,
Newbie here, was searching a problem I'm having and came across the forum.
I have an Echo SRM-2100 that I've had for ~15 years, has performed well all these years.
Recently I've been having trouble with the spool flying off. I'll bump it for line feed and notice it is loose, no longer locked into the the two nubs where it's supposed to lock in.
Shortly there after it'll will fall off. I respooled the line, in case I had done it backwards, but that didn't help.
Not sure if I need a new spool or a whole new head. Any info would be appreciated.
Thank you.
