Could be time for a new belt.
Look at all your pulleys and see if any have any wobble

That has to be hard to give a reason for without knowing any history. Bad pullys, pully alinement, belt shot, wrong style belt, what style or model of craftsman, you got some jamed into the pullys??? it could be any nunber of reasons and no one can give you a reason by just saying why does the drivebelt keep jumping off my craftsman. Is it a old belt or a new belt?
