I belong to a sportsman club with this tractor, the belt needs to be replaced. All information I find on line say this is a very difficult job there is a plate under the pulley, some say to pull motor other all steering linkage Is there any other procedures to help with belt replacement? I'm capable of doing the work. Any help would greatly appreciated. Thank you.

T2290 drive belt problem
Our T2290 with 11.2 hours is without propulsion. While mowing it simply quit moving. Everything else, engine, PTO, lights, etc are good. Dealer on Saturday morning suggested to check rear drive belt. It was off the pulley. While getting it back on successfully the belt slipped out of something...

I don't find it that difficult, but certainly not as easy as most of the zero turn mowers.
Remove the mower deck....and if you can lift the front and rear wheels, maybe 18-24" and support everything, it's a lot easier. Lot of parts need to be removed but once it's all out of the way you can snake the new belt back in.
