Does anybody on here own one of these?

I found one like it today at a pawn shop. It runs great and it a good price. I bought it to try in my leaf removal.

I've never run the particular model but I have run a few of the others. The machines all worked great but there down side is the bags don't hold up well unless they get constant care and cleaning. Turn the bag inside out and use some type of blower to clean the bag, hang it up inside out to make sure it gets dried out real good before the next time you use it.

Yes we have 3 similar ones w/o the chipper for years. They do work good. But as Ric said the bags fall apart after awhile and run a couple hundred to replace. We use them around curbs and courtyard areas. The Never really in grass. Very dusty to run.
I'd say its a good machine to have.

A bag for mine is $99 plus $18 shipping and handling. Mine was built April 2003. It literally looks almost new except there is a small amount of age showing on the bag. It starts and runs great. The only drawback is it has a Techumsea engine on it.

I researched them I thought and did not realize that they had anything but Briggs motors on them. I was servicing it when I realized it has the Techumsea on it.

Nothing wrong with the Tecumseh. Two ours have Tecumseh and one a Koehler. I never really had any problems with a horizontal shaft tecumseh on anything. Ive Worked on bunch toro snowblowers with them.

Never leave anything in the bag!! Empty after each use. Rotting leftovers will wear the bag out quick.

I always used to have a high opinion of Tecumseh motors. They just don't make them any more and I figure parts are hard to come by.
