Deere 2005 model year L130A 48" . What changed from 02-04 ?

Hi Guys,
Trying to understand the difficulty in finding online manuals/parts diagrams for a 2005 Deere L130A rider. 48" deck. What is the "A" moniker meaning? Alot of the parts listings i can find for deck spindles, deck parts, etc fall into the 2002 through 2004 model years. Some listings specifically state " Excluding 2005 model" . Whats up with that? New to the world of John Deere and looking for some insight. The rider i am refurbishing is S/N GXL130A135874. its got a Kohler commander 23 hp engine, which i have running strong now. Any insights or referrals to online manuals/parts list for 2005 would be appreciated! thank you in advance ........ Steve in the Poconos of Northeast Pennsylvania

Have you tried the JD web site ?
The parts lists are there
The owners manuals are there
You can not download either of them but you can print out pages

As for service manuals they are also availible but they have to be purchased from JD

I have been trying on their site. No luck finding anything on L130A. Cant find anything either on Ereplacementparts.com which normally is a great resource for parts diagrams and such.....

Well go back to the JB web page & drop your full number into the search
IT brings up the L130 page
The documents list below the parts section diagram has 4 items in it.
Open & read the "L130_Lawn_tractor_information" document
Your answers are there
When there is more than one part number in the parts diagram then it will list the breakdown by serial numbers

Thanks. I will try this tomorrow. Any chance the "A" in the L130A name is just marketing shenanigans to mean automatic transmission for the common sense impaired homeowners around usa?
