model 917.288562 - do they make a deck leveling assembly for the right side like the one on the left side. I thought I read somewhere that they did but the part was hard to find.
part in question: rear lift link assembly part no. 195181 I have also read that the left side assembly will work on the right side, can anybody verify this.
Thanks

To answer my own post, yes they do make a deck leveling assembly for the right side, it's the one for the left side, they are interchangeable. This is stated in the parts Manual for the above stated model. In a nut shell part # 195181 will fit on the right side and allow more precise deck leveling.

I cut off a old 2x4 where it was square about 3x3 then drove a #6 nail into it turn it over place nail head on the concrete and measure the height.
Tap the block until it is the right height now you have a gauge just sit it on the floor and adjust the deck till it touches the nail head then do the same on the other side.
Cheap and easy to make and it will get the deck level.

I made my leveling tool for $2.00. You need to get a 3/8" threaded rod coupler and a 2" long 3/8" bolt. Put the two together and you now can level with ease. One a level surface adjust the bolt until it just touches the blade tip on one side and then check the other side. When both sides are within 1/16" you are done, then check the front to rear level and adjust until the difference is equal to the thickness of the bolt head.

Looks like they did not understand what you was asking. I never understood why they did not put one on the right side. My cub cadet only has one on the left side.

(( racing is the only sport that you need two balls ))
