Custom steering bars???

I searched a bit on this but couldn't find anything.

I am a bigger guy and my thighs are really squeezed in by the steering bars. I was looking for some custom steering bars that went outward at the bolts then came in up top. Has anyone ever seen any outlets that sell custom steering bars?

there are bar extensions, but not outward bent extensions. have a machine shop make you some custom ones.

In the land of free enterprise, I see a marketing oppertunity here.
Lots of big blokes over there and lots of tube benders .
Mind boggles.
Wiggly ones painted brown for the earth children.
Thick chromed ones with leather frillies for the HD cruiser riders.
Sensually bent ones for the "playboy" types .

Damn! That was great!

I made my own extensions and added 1" spacers. No more thigh slamming or belly bouncing, well ya, it still bounces.

I made some "Ape-Hanger" bars for mine, keeps my armpits dry in summer months. :laughing:
