Craftsman Gas Leaf Blower...HELP PLEASE!

Hi,

My metal detecting buddy gave me a Craftsman Gas Leaf Blower. On the side Cover:
Sears Best/Craftsman
Power Blower/Vac
Gas Operated
32cc 360 CFM 170 MPH

I can't find a serial no. or a model no. on this equipment. Is it hidden? I got no. off the carb. WT141A = Walbro

Can I get a manual for this?

Seems that it will not stay running after starting. It ran last year, I was told.

Any info would be of a great help.

Thanks

Is there a sticker on the air filter box or cover? It is an old Poulan, look for any part numbers you can see, we may be able to run it backwards and get a model.

There is normally a 2 x 3 inch sticker some place on the housing. I have seen them fade and not be readable, I have also seen cases where the sticker was put in the box with the blower, and was never installed, which means it is gone. model number should start with a 358.

I'll take it apart some more, and return here.

Thanks

Anyone know about what year this was built?

Thanks...

It sounds like it dropped the fuel filter in the tank.

Also the fuel line is very thin. What size is this. I need to buy more. This leaf blower does not have a primer bulb.

OK Thank You!

Most of the poulan stuff uses .080 ID, .140 OD for the line with the fuel filter and 3/32 ID 3/16 OD for the other lines

I have the very same blower and have used it well for many years. The model is #358-797991 and the parts and schematic can be found here through Sears Parts.

The manual is also there available to download for free. According to the manual these Craftsman blowers were manufactured in 1995.

The instructions, model# and serial# are located on a decal on the top of the air cleaner cover underneath the top handle.
