What type of classified... ?
There are quite a few available... some good some not so good. They all can have some problems or complaints.
The most known and most widely used is craigslist. It is searchable to local areas if you like... :smile:KennyV

We've had a couple of requests for classifieds here on LMF and I think we will at some point soon add them for members to buy/sell items.

I know both ebay and craigs list but one specific to this site and for members who take the time to register would seem to be better. I'm a diesel truck guy and the Cummins' classified site is very active.

But just a thought

You are right Russell...
you DO have to be very careful when dealing with total strangers on the 'outer net'...
The nice thing about a well monitored forum like this, It allows you to get a little better feel of who your about to deal with.
And for the most part this group seems to be some very good social folks. And it's growing larger with more good people posting all the time.

Whenever I am looking to buy something, finding it on eBay or craigslist is one option, but I generally feel that if I find it on a community website then I'm going to get a more thoughtful and knowledgeable explanation of the item, condition, reason for selling, etc. Case in point being the types of items on TractorByNet's classifieds vs tractors found on craigslist. While some are the same pieces of equipment, I think buying from a TBNer would be preferred in most cases. But then I might be a little biased.

I think posting classifieds in a forum like this is a much better idea then trying to go on something like Craigs list. The latter is always a crap shoot as to what you're getting is any good, but with the former, you know you're dealing with people that know what they're doing.

Yes there should be a classified ad in the forum here to, you would know what you where getting and from who you where getting it from. I think mahammad should do it soon.
