Exactly what I thought. He has the comments turned off. Bet the trolls were spreading the gospel and he shut off the comments.
We all have to start some place. Every time Bertsmobile1 types, I feel like an infant next to him LOL. Thought I new enough to get a small engine running. Bert is about 7 levels above that LOL.
slomo
Will you stop this please Slomo it is getting embarrassing .
Back when I first came here most of the replies were in the vein of turn bolt B 3 times to the left and put locktite on nut 5
While this is exactly what needed to be done it did not tell the poster why they were doing it which in the long run is of little help in the future or to the reader who needed to turn bolt 3 six 6 times and back off nut 5.
On top of that I have been messing around with motorcycles since I was 10 when we made minni bikes out of old lawnmower engines .
An engine is an engine is an engine and basically they are all the same.
Same story for carburettors .
Mower wiring is just a slight variation on a common theme they are all so much the same it is not funny.
And yes I would have just threaded the shaft with the next size smaller .
However it is probably a LH thread which makes things a bit more expensive and you could probably get a good working 2nd hand edger for less than the die .
And yes he is an idiot but it was not that long ago that mower adds showed a barely clothed woman pushing a mower while wearing open toed high heels & we thought nothing about it .
I actually have been on some of these locations & there were stepping stones hidden in the grass so she did not sink in or break the heels off
The girls had to walk along a concrete path while the depraved editors filmed their brests bouncing so the stones can be placed at the right distance to get maximum boob bounce and hip swing .
So trimming in the crocks is a bit of a non event.
