Hi there,

First post here as I have purchased my first ride on lawnmower (used). It is a 2001 date stamped Castelgarden TCP102.

I bought it slightly rough around the edges but overall in very good condition for the age. It needs some new belts but has come with a pretty much (2020) brand new deck.

Anyways, the main issue I am dealing with is that the mower turns on all dash lights, cranks and starts with the key. However it will not turn off with said ignition key....it keeps on running. There is a crudely installed switch drilled into the dash of the mower which is connected to a grounding point and will then get the engine to stop. Unfortunately the PCB of my mower is an older green block type connector style and I have searched high and low for weeks now for a schematic which I cannot find. Would anyone have such a document or be able to point me in the right direction as how to get this thing wired back up correctly.

I will add some photos after this post.

Hugely appreciated!
Alex

Unfortunately my own photos will not upload as it says the files are too large. The below Google image though is the board that I have.

Thank you,
Alex

Most most OEM here will not provide a schematic of the circuit boards.

Most times you can not upload photos directly from your phone
Photos are best imported into some sort of photo application then resized to 12" along the longest edge & saved at 72 dpi
This will upload quite hapily and display quite large so we can see the detail
And if you are shooting some thing small like a circuit board, please stand your camera on some thing solid
So many people post out of focus shakey hand photos tha are useless .
