carb just started dumping fuel out past the choke butterfly and drained my gas tank. obviously its not running. just shutoff in middle of mowing. 26 hp kohler 6500 sreies craftsman.. ideas?

Dirt in the float valve.
Remove the carb and clean it.
replace the fuel filter.
Fir a shiut off valve in the fuel line and run the carb dry after use.
