Buying advice for a new mower

Bigger is not always better.. Depends on your mowing needs.. Friend got a 52" & his land rolls & has some dips, so his 52" scalps going thru the dips. And has even got stuck by the deck getting hung up..

I had a 46" but went to a 42" because I can do almost everything, including the nooks & crannies, so my 22" (push mower) Yard Machine sits way more now..

Just food for thought..

Yeah I agree bigger is not always better. That's the reason I purchased the 36" and 48" because you can mow places you can't with the bigger stuff and being able to go and do those type of things can at times increase your productivity.

It certainly has increased my productivity.. Even tho I just mow my own place.. My 42" ZTR can run circles around my former 46" tractor. And not having to use my push mower hardly at all because of this 42" Z is a big help..
