i love them...

i bought the SRM 230 new it's been kickin butt every since. the PE 200 edger i bought used just last week. it immediately replaced my craftsman walk behind edger.

both are light weight and dependable. i look forward to turning both of them into backups when the time comes in the future.

i've heard good things about stihl, redmax, shindaiwa and kawasaki too, but i only have some experience a stihl handheld blower and stihl trimmer. the stihl trimmer i have experience is a curved shaft and since going to the str8 shaft echo i just can't stand the stihl curved shaft anymore...

yea that is my craftsman.

the reason i didn't list it is because i don't like, i don't want it and i don't even carry it on my trailer anymore.

i may regret that if the echo breaks down, but with a 5x10 trailer the craftsman was just getting in the way...

Yeah, good decision!! When you get a chance could you take a picture of your trailer with your equipment on it because I will soon be getting one and I am curious. Post the picture in the LAWN CARE TRAILER thread in the Commercial/Residential Lawn Mowing section.

Hello, I'm a retired US ARMY SFC, and I take a little too much pride in my lawn, just joined this forum a couple of weeks ago because I've read a lot of really good information on here, I'm amazed that people actually share knowledge and experience and hobbies, anymore, for free.
I hope to gain a lot and share a lot here if you allow me. Getting to my point, I am restoring an old Murray rider model 38608x92c and it has me stumped, The drive belt snapped, blades are shot and I need a new blade deck, as well, I plan to paint and even put new labels on the machine, I have a 18 wheel semi and this mower actually pulled it down the road! 12hp Briggs&Stratton. any advice or knowledge you can share with me would be appreciated. I plan to restore more old mowers in the future in like new condition. I have photos posted.
