I have a 2012 bronco that I'm having issues with. It will not turn over at all at the ignition, but will turn over slightly while jumping the solenoid... or the starter. The starter usually makes one attempt to turn then it binds. Any ideas anybody?

Process of elimination.
Using light wire jump from the battery to the small + terminal ( trigger on the solenoid )
Repest witha light jumper to the - terminal on the solenoid or a good earth on the solenoid body if it only has one small terminal.
Jump the - battery to the engine. I find the oil drain plug is really good.
If it spins well then you have a bad earth.
Jump the mower from the + to the + feed side of the solenoid and then to the starter side of the solenoid then to the starter itself.
Do all of these with and without the - jumper
Whatever you have jumped past when the starter works best is where the problem is.
You could have multiple bad connections / broken wires dud solenoid or faulty safety switches ( jumping to the control terminals on the solenoid bypasses all of the safety switches ).
Write down the results from all of the above and if you can't wrap your head around the results post them here.
