Well my Honda HRX is out of commission now. I was mowing and then all of a sudden the one side of the handle dropped a bit and I was confused what happened. But then I looked down, and the handle was just dangling there. I tried to lift it back up, and then the part that it USED to be connected to fell off. The handle snapped right at the bolt securing the skinny part of the handle to the wider piece of metal that is connected to the mower itself. I am assuming I need a new handle? HELP.gif

Now that I think about it the reason it broke is probably from hanging the blower on the handle for transport. :ashamed:

You mite take it to someone and maybe get it welded, if they can weld that stuff. you could also fix it your self with a piece of flat stock.

Welding is definitely your best option auto repair shops muffler shops any metal fabrication places.

I have had to do this before found a muffler shop a few blocks away I stopped by to get a small weld like that they were bored enough they didn't even charge me. It might need another piece of metal to reinforce or it'll just happen again

Welding it would not last long it broke at its weakest point so now you weld it and next week it breaks next to the weld. It is just to thin for a weld to make it stronger than it was.
What I would do because I am cheap is put a piece of stock on the top and one on the bottom held on with hose clamps and a big washer on the bolt.
So your going to ask why not drill holes and bolt or screw the stock on. Drilling holes will make a now spot for it to break.

And from now on I will NOT put the blower on the mower handle. I learned my lesson by having to use my HRR!:mur:
