Have a Briggs & Stratton XR1450 (19N137-0084-F1). No spark when the ground wire is disconnected. Does anyone have shop manual or the specs for the resistance for primary and secondary coils?
There are no specs or procedure for testing todays magnetos. You preformed the test used by 99% of all service technicians when you disconnected the kill wire and checked for spark. From your results time to replace the magneto.
