The reverse thing is of course lead undies ( A##e protection ) for the manufacturers.
Blades going or not if you reversed over a toddler they would be very seriously injured way before the blades got anywhere near them.
I do know of one idiot who Darwin was correct all along by mowing over a live power lead to a water pump.
His widdow lost a fortune trying to sue for damages.
Thankfully very few judges down here believe in creationism.

Apparently it is dangerious to mow backwards on a tractor mower but quite safe to do the same thing on a ZTR

Why didn't I think of that!?!?!? Waaaaay better than a rear view mirror!

I'm going to quit posting to this thread and start one on my transaxle repair.. I've decided to give repairing it a shot. I figure it's worth a try anyway.

Thanks for your help AND your GREAT ideas... Back-up camera... now why didn't I think of that??????
