I have a Dixon ZTR with a Briggs Intek 15.5 OHV that's simply won't start. The mower is about 10 years old. I've had the carb off more times than I care to count. I've cleaned the carb several times with carb cleaner, ran a small wire through the passage ports and blew out everything with compressor. Reassemble and still will not fire. It will start right up as long as you dribble gas into the carb but dies when you stop. I replaced the fuel pump and filter a couple years back and it still seems to be fine. I have not put a kit in the carb since there is gas getting into the carb. The float, needle and seat appears to be fine. I don't see any type of adjustment on the float though. I ran into this same problem a couple years back and basically did all the same things, clean carb etc. I don't know all that much but everything I know points to the carb and I just can't see how.. seems simple as its just not drawing fuel. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
