Briggs fuel pump

Hello all, I have a briggs twin 19hp 2006 vintage. It has the single carb with the 3 screw fuel pump attached to the carb. It does not function and I don't see a rebuild kit on ebay. I have a pump off a Kohler that is new. Is it possible to install it on the Briggs using its pulse line? This would save me updating to the 4 screw pump\carb design. Thanks
