I am not sure where you even got this part number.

How could you even come up with any part number without knowing what flywheel and/or alt that he had?

You want him to buy some regulator that you threw up a part number for?

The same engines have differing charging systems, depending on their application. Charging output is dependant on magnet size,
as well as alt size and structure. The end amp/voltages are a product of all of the variables, which is why I ask questions, because I have a big phobia of dispensing bad advice, which clearly doesn't bother some of the guys here!!!!

I hate to tell someone to spend $50 and have it not fix his problem.

1 He posted up the numbers of the engine, and I gave him the number for that engine.

2 It is up to him if after coming here to ask for help if he wants to pay out for parts that may or do need replacing, and not me.

3 And if you feel that you are the only one here with the correct answers to give, then when I see you name on a post I will stay well away from, because it would be wrong to tell you your job, has its wrong for you to tell me mine.

Naw, there are different regulators for different applications, which was stated in the parts lookup.

No worries though, I don't want any trouble......
