I'm wondering...........
if can adapt one of these newer OHV push mower engine carburetors to one of the older style Quantum L head metal carbs........
so far the only problem i can see is the throttle/governor..... If i'm remembering right on the quantums the governor pulls back to increase throttle.. and on these new ones they push to the front..
because on the OHV's where the carb slides on, there is a plate that looks to be the perfect width to bolt up a quantum carb...
i may try this on mine this winter..... just wanted to ask the Brain Trust here for any blatant problems i'm not seeing?
