Boy a fun day this one caused. Just finding an IPL was a challenge. What I found is they are under the Hart Tools line and the parts are actually Homelite parts

It took me a couple hours to figure things out but just kept looking until I hit the right combination.

Decal contains two different product (model) numbers. Most sites simply didn't pull up the right IPLs and the number that works on the Hart site simply was reject by all the others. Kinda glad the owners downloads noted the second number too. Once I figure which the Hart Tools site wanted it was easy to find the IPL. But many of the parts which NA until I realize they were using the Homelite part numbers with the HRT prefix then all I had to do is change over the Homelite prefix.

Just don't know why I spent so much time looking when it is a $125 Walmart sold tool. Maybe I just don't like not knowing something that should had been easy to find. And is actually was based on the Weedeater Featherlite FL25.4 trimmer as that the coil is for which the part I am needing.

BM25SSACVNM (095333575) is one I working on.

Congratulations!!! Sometimes we have to do this to just make sure we can still do it. Got to keep the brain active. I myself probably get more out of solving that kind of problem than actually fixing the equipment.

Black Max is sold at Sam’s and Hart is sold at Walmart. Glad I don’t work on either when it comes to handheld equipment.

They are the same equipment just dressed different. Otherwords you can dress a sow up but she is still a pig.

By the way if you work on the late Homelite line you are working on the same equipment. Same low end equipment as Homelite line is no where near what it once was.

I do it as a good will jester and it does bring in more profitable business. So what I charge an half hour labor plus parts. So this one will go out around $60 and that customer has done spent over $300 on repairs this year. Not bad for a customer that living off SS. And seniors do deserve a break every once a while. Besides he also have a lot of the extra attachments that he would have to just throw away if it was not fixable.

But I did tell the customer he should buy more reliable and more powerful equipment. Using a 25cc for a brushcutter is really pushing the limits.

Handheld equipment brands I service and repair:
Stihl, Husqvarna, Echo, Redmax.
Used to work on the cheap stuff and no longer do for a variety of reasons.

Then you should work on Poulan and Weedeater lines as many of the Husqvarna 2 cycle line are based on the Poulan and Weedeater. Also the Redmax is now part of Husqvarna Group. Actually I order parts from Husqvarna for the Poulan, Redmax, and Weedeater.

We don't waste time trying to run down parts for that type of equipment. Do you charge for the time you waste looking up the parts and freight to get it to you. To us just not worth it. Red Max is or was a quality line of equipment.
