The quantum should have a metal flap on the side of the blower housing the extends over the muffler. The engine model, type, code should be stamped into it and viewable from above,

I’m looking for a pic to see what the spring setup is for that model, do you have any available? Thanks!

Look up your engine on youtube. Should be a video of the springs you want.

Take pictures next time so one doesn't forget where they go. Or maybe yours was missing??

Already have done that, spring configuration is different based on the equipment it’s mounted on. If one were the one who took it apart one would know if there was something missing and how it was configused. Thanks for your help

If you just take the time and provide us with the engine and type along the date code we might be to find the info. This because Billy Goat doesn't provide us with the engine info.

As IL said it should be on a tag over the muffler though it might be partially hide by a plastic shroud cover. Otherwise you are just grasping at straws that are just out of reach.

If you find a video with your engine you are golden. Or look for shiny spots where springs could of resided. Like there is black paint missing from one small spec. Maybe a spring could of went there. Find the throttle plate. Move it with your finger. Listen for the revs to go up and down. A spring will go there to another point. You have to do some kind of CSI investigation on your own. Not just sit back and ask for help.

Why don't you take a picture of your carb linkage and post it up here? We could all guess at it if you are not going to provide engine numbers. Little Trivia Tuesday.
