I have an R21, and after a year, just got a flat Drive tire. I have a couple of floor jacks. I've tried jacking up the frame just behind the wheel. However this causes the mower to articulate. The rear lifting while the drive axles lower. I'm apprehensive to use the hydro box, located just inside the wheel, to lift on. Is it ok to do this?

Hello Ron P.,

You should be able to put the deck in the full up position, the use a short jack to raise the side under the hydro motor. put a board or an old book or cardboard on the jack as a lift cushion. Lift it just enough to take the wheel bolts off and remove the tire and rim so you can take it to get it repaired at a tire shop. Have it patched on the inside properly and not plugged. It may just need a valve stem, but the tire shop will have those.
