The reviews are not great, but I like this mower, just because it has a "wing" on the back!!

The Bad Boy Mower doesn't have a good reputation. TSC here was selling them and keeping them at the store but not anymore. I noticed last year that my dealer had three or four new units on his lot and when I asked the owner if they were going to start selling them he said no-way.

He said those units outside the door were brought form TSC and were new units that had to be repaired before they could be sold.

Yeah, I have heard a lot of bad things about them also. Look here: It says they are the fastest mower....I don't believe that. What do you think?

I don't hardly think so unless you count how fast it goes to the dealer to be fixed. My guess is the fastest mower on the market today would have to be that twin engine beast that Dixie Chopper has, I think they call it the XCaliber Twin It's a 54 hp, two 27HP Generac engines. Hey you can buy for 13K  but I'd still like to see it and the Hustler mix it up.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. It's a beast! http://www.lawnmowerforum.com/dixie-chopper/13145-dixie-chopper-ztr-54-hp.html

I saw one yesterday at Tractor Supply. It has too many belts on it to suit me. I saw that real fast. My Kubota only has one belt on the whole machine. That thing has two small belts that run the drives on it or that is what it looked like without closer examination. I think I saw 4 or 5 belts on it. Looks like it would be a nightmare to keep up when it gets a little age on it.

Tell me which mower is fastest?

I believe that was a Hustler advertisement.

The Dixie Chopper they used was not a comparable mower. I have seen a Dixie Chopper that would be much faster than anything they had racing.
