B&S intek rocker (valve) cover gasket? 33R777-0003-G1

Okay so i have a husqvarna yth1842 with a B&S 18.5 hp intek engine..The old rocker cover gasket has gotten worn over time from tak on and off adjusting the valves etc. My question is I ordered a new gasket but do I need to add anything to it or just apply new gasket bolt it back on? Thanks in advance for any help

put it on and bolt the cover back on.

What I do is put Hylomar blue on the rocker cover then press the gasket onto it
Then put high temperature axel grease ( bentonite brown stuff that stinks ) on the head
So next time the the gasket will stay on the rocker cover and strip cleanly off the head requiring nothing more than a wipe over with a petrol damp rag to clean it off before replacement
Particulalry on rocker cover gaskets that come off quite regularly
Never ever put any type of silicon there because that becomes a rod for your own back as it can take hours to remove and the little rubber globs can end up everywhere inside the engine.
