Greetings!

I'm thinking about a snow blower for my long gravel driveway.
My neighbor who has been doing It with a plow mounted tractor
has retired.
I have a 6x6 Polaris and a 4x4 Yamaha atvs, both with winches
and a Cub Cadet ZT mower.

Has anyone had any good experiences mounting a snow blower
on these machines?

Just how are you planning on driving the snow blower arguer with any of these machines. I have seen snow plows on the ATV's but never a snow blower. Now the ZT maybe. They are designed for mowing not snow removal.

I was assuming the snow blower to have it's own engine to run the two stages and the atv to propel it it over the ground only.
Some where on the net I saw a pretty impressive ad/demo of a shoblower on an atv., but the
cost was prohibitive. Around 6k If I remember right. Seems some manufacturer missing out
on an idea.

I own two ATV's and they do have a low speed range. The problem I can see is even with this low speed range they just wouldn't be geared right for snow blowing. Yes for snow plowing seeing you need a little more speed for snowplowing. It takes a lot of power and a slow speed to blow deep heavy snow. The ZT just wouldn't be designed for snow removal but also I have never tried it.

Pretty expensive for one that does justice to the speed an ATV works well at. The resale value would be pretty bad as well. For large jobs a plow mounted on a pickup truck works pretty well. So do the 4by 4 tractor mounted ones. My neighbor purchased a used skid steer with plow attachments that works real well. It is very rough on things that it drives over though. The ATV plows work pretty good but can be pretty rough on sidewalks sometimes. I would just buy a large regular snowblower myself if a blower was what I needed.

I personally dont like the idea of plowing with a ztr. They are too high end and i would be afraid to damage something on them. It would be cool to put a plow on the polaris though, since it has the roof and it would be nice to plow in an almost concealed area.

Agreed. An ATV might not go slow enough, but I wouldn't want to put it on a zero-turn, either! I found this: ATV Snowblower - Snowblower for an ATV

you could probably take the drive off of the snoblower and leave the motor and the augers, then fabricate some kind of bracket for the blower to mount to the quad itself. i would still rather plow with the Polaris. less snow on you. i wouldnt put a snowblower on any since they dont go slow enough.
