Haha the snappers are the only thing I really collect, and I think my collection is pretty much done now. Not sure where it comes from but it's enjoyable. I've also always loved yardwork, most of which mowing the grass. A little wierd is ok lol.

Anybody here ever heard of a Bob-Cat lawn mower? Looks to be cast-aluminum deck, very heavy-duty/commercial looking machine. Found one, needs a head gasket, gonna try to pick it up Fri or Sat sometime! I want this thing!

First welcome to the forum. Yes I have heard of Bob-Cat mowers and I believe they were commercial duty. Good luck and enjoy.

Leavin this part? Kommiefornia, maybe, I feel bad for most of those folks, but right here's one of the best parts of the country, maybe only MT or AK is better, IMO. TX is ok, no offense! I like west TX. Gotta have trees, makes jobs out here!

Ah, yeah, no worries. My entire family, except myself, kid sister, and one cousin, are all Californians. Bout half of 'em are still there. But there ain't many left-coast folks here, the longhairs in these parts tend to not like cutting anything down!

Best part of CA is the scenery. The mountains, the ocean, all the green farm land inbetween...having lived here all my life (in Sacramento) it's hard to imagine living anywhere else. But the leaders here are a bunch of dumb asses. It's no secret we're looked upon as the ship of fools, and with good reason. Most of the undesireable aspects of CA are man-made (and mostly by the poiliticians) but that aside, it's not too bad. I could do without this 100+ temps we've been having, but it is summer and that's what happens.

As the song goes "It Never Rains In California". Being the most populated and third largest US State in the USA behind Alaska and Texas it is hard to group it all as the same. California being the great state that it is has many different regions and cultures to choose from. Politicians are bad everywhere nowadays but we won't get into that. :confused2:

True. California does have some amazing natural wonders. Redwood forest is the most awesome, most peaceful place I've ever been outdoors. Surrounded by giants.
