That drain plug is leaky. Take it out clean it put some gasket maker on it and put it back in. It'll seal without it getting stuck .

I dont think that even right plug for that. It looks like piece brass fitting that goes to something and doesnt belong on this engine.

Looking again it looks like there is supposed to be a hose on it...

You put the hose on it when your ready to drain the oil. Its the right drain plug AYP/HOP 188799 which is NLA. The hose part number is AYP/HOP 188800.

I took off the crankcase of this engine yesterday. Found 2 bent pushrods and the other 2 were missing in action. The oil leak was from a loose crankcase bolt that came loose.
