A TREE TRIMMING

:laughing: Well I got my Oak Tree in the front of my house Trimmed for nothing this morning. My ringing doorbell got me up at 2am this morning, I answered the door with a 40 cal. Glock in my hand to find a deputy sheriff at the door.needless to say he asked me to put the gun on the dinning room table and asked me to come outside and check my truck.
When I walked outside I found my Oak tree in the middle of my driveway along with parts of my mailbox and SUV headlights and some other car parts.

Well needless to say I had a heck of a mess to clean up this morning but the upside is I got the Oak removed that the HOA said I had to leave alone :tongue:

So, somebody ran over the tree -- It actually looks like there are tire tracks on top of your mailbox post ????

I don't see any skid marks out on the street -- did they figure out what happened and who did it ?

When I was a teenager my parents lived next to a vacant corner lot and the punks would run up in the vacant lot and across my parents front yard, tearing up the lawn. My dad and I were putting a hedge in the back yard and uncovered several large rocks. We half buried them in the tall grass of the vacant lot about 5 foot from the property line. Not too long after, we heard the revving engine, squealing tires and then a large thump! Came out the next morning to see the tire tracks across the lawn and a trail of motor oil down the street! Score! No one drove across the lawn again ... :laughing:

HOA's can be a pain,at times...
but if you are required to have a tree there... you will just be forced to replace it & comply...

They got off lightly just needing a new oil sump. If that had been me they would have needed a new pair of legs... Just joking of course...
