A question for help with my Raptor SD

The other day I suffered a catastrophic failure to my mower. The bolts securing a cross brace between the trans axles sheared off causing the brace to break. This in turn bent the securing angles bolted to the frame flaring the rear wheels outward. Of course the drive belt snapped. My question is; Am I able to order these specific parts from Hustler and who would I contact?
 
There are upgrade repair kits for these mowers, just need the model number in order to get the right kit.

Bolts breaking and frame mounting ears tearing is a common problem. The ears will have be cutoff if not bolted on. The new ears [brackets] are thicker than the originals. Now if the brace is now damage that may require a separate part.
 
Install the kit. The axle mounting brackets bolt to the frame and the brackets are in the kit. You can get them through you Hustler or Big Dog dealer only they will be red.

Thankfully my mounting brackets are bolted on to the frame. Thanks for the info.
 
Heck I was not thinking clearly it is the Husqvarna that I have cut off those ears.

Now as for the brackets on the Hustler the old ones are usually just mounted with two bolts and the upgrades are done with three bolts.
 
Hustler Turf does offer replacement parts, but for its lawn mowers, parts are generally sold through authorized Hustler dealers rather than directly to the public. Hustler recommends having your model number and serial number ready when ordering.

For this particular failure, I would contact a Hustler authorized dealer/service center and describe the damaged cross brace, mounting angles/brackets, bolts, and drive belt. Because the frame and transaxle mounting points were bent, have the dealer inspect the machine before simply replacing the belt.

I was able to order all the mounting hardware and fasteners and the crossmember as well. Yes, that drive belt is not going on till the damaged parts are replaced. The replacement parts have been upgraded with heavier steel. Thanks for the reply!

The replacement brackets are made from steel twice as thick and more beefy. Definitely a needed upgrade.
 
Thanks everyone for the helpful information. As it turns out, the replacement parts were much easier to obtain than I originally thought. Apparently this is a common occurrence. I was hoping this was a great place to run to. You didn't disappoint.
 
I would suggest checking all the other frame and mounting bolts to be sure they are properly snug. Sometimes when something like this happens, the additional stresses show up in other areas. Because it is a common point of failure, the new parts are designed to solve it. This is also a good time to pull the engine shroud and make sure the fins are free of debris for max cooling.
