I just finished mowing with my Super Z and thought I'd post a couple pics. We've had a flood here locally that we haven't seen in 100 years so its a little wet still but more rain is coming so I had to get it mowed. I also posted a pic of my mowing companion a Louisiana Catahoula Leopard, AKA "Kitty"

Obviously, a fine grass cutting machine....and operator!!!!!! Question....stripe "kit/attachment" , heeled deck, etc....to get your striping effect.

No stripe kit yet. As far as the deck goes its the way the dealer set it up. I haven't even checked it since I've been happy with the cut quality. I should probably verify that measurement.

Nice cutting mower and nice straight lines
But I still don't like how the big mowers leave tire tracks.

therev,
Yeah, if you check the deck leveling and the blade tips when pointing "sideways" are identical on each side and the front blade tip, when pointing towards the front/rear of the mower are lower than the back that is the "normal" deck leveling setting. When the blade tips, when pointing towards the front and back are lower in the back than the front that is referred to as "heeling" the deck and is considered to give a better quality cut, but requires more power. I "think" the rear tips, versus the front tips cutting the "final height" of the cut grass may also produce a striping effect but I don't know for sure.
P.S.
You know, after looking again, what I am seeing may very well be the "tire tracks" eluded to by user Carscw...not a striping effect. Still looks like a very good cut!!!

Wow what a beautiful place you have there in Indiana. The Super Z looks to have done a Super job.
What a great looking dog Kitty is. She has beautiful eyes and they appear to be different colors of blue and brown which is common in the breed. Catahoulas are believed to be the first dog breed developed in North America as the result of Native Americans having bred their own dogs with molossers and greyhounds brought to Louisiana by Hernando de Soto in the 16th century. They are highly intelligent and make excellent hunting dogs. They need a lot of area and interaction which you appear to have. I love all cur dogs and the Catahoula leopard dog is one of my favorites that I hope to have when I move out of the city. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you we love it. Living currently in a pole barn house on a little over 13 acres. Finally starting to build our house this year. Kitty has been the best dog I've ever owned. She has a ton energy and follows me up and down the yard as I mow and chases my boys on their atv's. Shes incredibly smart an has a food drive that's unreal which makes her easy to train. She leaves the deer alone but having trouble keeping her from chasing the turkeys, lol

Agreed, I'm looking into a stripe kit which I think may blend the grass better. My dealer hasn't sold a stripe kit on the vx4 deck so can't give me a recommendation either way but they are crazy money. I may pull the trigger on one or build one. I was trying to find some info on the Hustler stripe kit with the vx4 deck and have not found it yet.
