I, too, would like to try out the Toro Turfmaster or Exmark Commercial 30. But I will definitely demo them first because near $2,000 is a large amount of :2cents: for a self-propelled mower!

I agree it's a lot of money for a self propelled push mower, is it worth what there asking??? I guess that would be up to the individual buying the mower. I'd like too demo the mower before I buy. I think the problem may come with the dealer, whether or not he can justify having the money tied up in a machine like that and have it setting on the floor for possibly months. It could be if you want the mower I'll order it for you. Who knows??

Yeah that is a good point. For example I returned by Billy Goat HomePro 34 mower (picture attached) in May 2012 (after I couldn't stand it anymore) and it is still on the floor; it never sold. It can be risky buying mowers if you don't know they will sell!

Just to give you an option, I would look at that Gravely XD3. I do not have one yet but it sure is impressive for 400.00. heres a link. Gravely XD3 Walk Behind Lawn Mower

Check out the video in the video section. I hope that helps you. If your going to grow your business, go ahead and get yourself a proper commercial mower. I got the entry level Gravely Pro Turn 52. I love it! Good luck with your search, there are tons of excellent choices.

That depends on your intentions. Are you looking to add more clients and turn it into a business or staying with 5 to 7 yards a week? If you're staying at 5 to 7 then a Toro or a Honda would work fine but if you're looking too expand you may want to consider something in the commercial line.

Dont plan on getting no more than 10 lawns.
