42inch deck belt trouble

I have a troy built 42 inch cut ,
issues with the deck belt that keeps coming off of the tentioner pully ,
I have a new belt on it , I have replaced the tentioner arm and washer because it was wore and had a lot of play in it up and down ,, the pully itself is good
all the other pullys seem to be good , no play in them and the deck seems to be level
but the belt keeps rolling off of the tentioner pully ,
any ideas??? anything to look for???

What you have to check is if all your pulleys are level with each other.

When you replaced the belt did you replace the belt keeper ?
Its job is to prevent the belt from coming off the pulley.
Easy overlooked and on a lot of them easy to put back in the wrong place.
