My kubota diesel does not like to start when it is cold out (60's). Can you replace the glow plugs in these engines? If so does anyone know what the part number is or where they are available at.

Thanks

You can also test them if you have a digital volt Ohm meter...
You may have a fuse, relay or switch problem... :smile:KennyV

Yes I am turning the key to the left, I wait about 5-10secs then try to start. Usually this works fine, but when it is a little cold outside it is tempermental. The other day I had to boost the battery to finally get it to start and when it did start there was alot of white smoke.

Is there 12 volts on the glow plug terminals when turning the key to the left? :smile:KennyV

reads about 11volts on all 3 terminals when turned to the left. I pulled out 1 glow plug and it is a ngk ye01 then it says 11v below the ye01 (i assume this means 11volts) and there is also a oox1 on it. Is there a way of testing the glow plug itself or am I just better off replacing all 3?
