Wow, this is from six years ago.
Just bought a decent 314 and would like to have a service manual for it.
I went to the John Deere site and five possibilities popped up with no way to be certain which one was correct.

not sure what you were looking at, but there is only one service/technical manual, there is a serial number split at 120,000 for the owners manual
