Hey Sivicman, what is the secret to getting the steel plate off that encases the idler pullies? Thanks!Update:
I have completed the belt replacement after being down for a month. I replaced the belt along with the 3 pulleys, and tension spring. All new OEM parts. This was the worst designed by Kubota. The engineer that designed this belt setup needs to be hung. After all this time the 2 pulleys up by the right front are squealing. I have taking these two pulleys apart 5 times, and even put on the old pulleys, and the same thing. The belt is not squealing, it's the pulleys. I have the factory Kubota shop manual which is totally worthless. No where does it say how to replace belt and pulleys. No torque specs., nothing. Has anyone run into this problem after changing the drive belt? Much help will be appreciated. I need to get this fixed, as I am selling this mower. I am not going to go through this every 2 years.
