This is my 1963 Toro Professional 76" that I restored in 2012. I use it to cut the grass each week.

The machine cuts great. The reels were all sharpened by the former owner before I bought it. I have an extra set of each of the three reels that are also sharp. I lap them in every so often to keep them sharp.

That's a nice toro. If I remember right they used them to mow the tees and sometimes the fairways.

(( cowboy up and get over it ))

I used one of those back in 1970 at the Cemetery. Had to lift the outboard reels to clear head stones. We all had great looking upper arms!
I see another one in the garage. Good job.

I ran one of these in the 70's for a lawn care company. We cut grass on large estates in southeastern Connecticut. They do a great job and use much less fuel than a rotary.
