    Z Force S60 not starting

Check the battery with a tester that puts a "load" on it, they are cheap in places like harbor freight. Sometimes a battery will measure the correct voltage, but when you put any load on it ( like trying to start an engine) it will drop to a bad voltage.

Hi guys, I do not know how to mark this thread as solved, but I went ahead and bought both belts and that solved the slow speed problem. Thanks again!

Thanks Slomo and StarTech, You think there is a way to adjust the forward speed?

Craftsman rider mower with variable speed pulley won't climb a mild slope.

Thanks Bertsmobile1 and Slomo, I fixed it I checked the belt tension of the lower drive belt (spring 27) and it was fairly tight. Then I checked the tension on the upper drive belt (spring 25) that pulls on the variable speed pulley and it was loose. I could not get the spring to pull any...

Craftsman rider mower with variable speed pulley won't climb a mild slope.

Thanks, I will check tomorrow. You answered a similar question a while ago and the spring for the clutch pedal was the problem. I think I remember the pulley being shiny I haven't replaced the upper drive belt. Thanks again

Craftsman rider mower with variable speed pulley won't climb a mild slope.

Hi, My mower is a Craftsman LT 1500 I replaced the drive belt, and checked the variable speed pulley to make sure it was sliding and rotating freely. The mower will jerk when I let go of the clutch quickly, so I am pretty sure there is no problem with the transmission but slowly looses speed...

Craftsman LT 1500 lawn tractor engine parts

Thanks to everyone that answered with a post. I removed the leaking seal and it had the numbers that star tech mentioned. They also happened to be the numbers in the lower crankcase seal of my kawasaki FH680v motor, so I replaced it and stopped the leak. I cleaned the oil from the pulley but the...

Hi, I don't have access to the dimensions of the seal. Would it be the same as the lower seal for a kawasaki FH680V ? Thanks

Craftsman LT 1500 lawn tractor engine parts

Hi My old Murray tractor rusted to pieces, and I replaced it with a younger Craftsman LT 1500 riding tractor mower. The lower crankase seal leaks a lot and makes the belt slip. I thought it had a kohler engine because there is a kohler oil filter on it, but it seems the engine is built by MTD...

    Hustler mower dead electrically

Thanks to both of you for your help. I learn something from every post. And I feel like a fool. I said I checked the battery voltage and it was over 12 volts, but I did not check it under load. It was a bad battery. I have to learn how to check the simple things first. Thanks again,

    Hustler mower dead electrically

Hi, I have an older Hustler MiniZ 44" that has been great until last week. The mower has a sort of "check engine light" that turns on with the first click of the ignition switch and the hydraulic coolant fan turns on at the same time. The second step of the switch cranks the starter and the...

Hustler super mini z does not start when warm but starts easily when cold

I would appreciate any help if someone has seen this before. I can start my hustler zero turn mower (Super Mini Z) easily when cold, but after I have been using it for a while, if I need to turn it off, I cannot start it again until it cools down. I wonder if it is a sensor problem and how to...
