I would appreciate any help if someone has seen this before.
I can start my hustler zero turn mower (Super Mini Z) easily when cold, but after I have been using it for a while, if I need to turn it off, I cannot start it again until it cools down.
I wonder if it is a sensor problem and how to check it.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Do you mean that only after you turn it off you can not start it, it will run until you switch off...?

Thanks for the reply,
Yes, it will run and runfine until you turn it off, then if you try to restart it, it will crank and give an occassional pop, but it won't start.

Then I would check the ignition switch, and the kill relay.

Sorry I took so long to reply. I could not find my password.
Ignition switch and relays are fine.
New information, the red engine light flickers whenit gets warm even though the oil is not low.
I think it has something to do with the engine light and the oil but can't find any information on how to check it.
I will drain the oil and put a heavier weight oil (old Kawasaki engine) to see if that helps.

Thanks for the service manual.
I thought that it might have been the engine oil too thin and low oil pressure because the engine light would start to flicker so I changed the oil to a 20-50w thicker oil and disconnected the oil sensor wire. I ran it for about an hour and turned it off and no change, it still won't start warm.
I am going to test the spark when warm just in case it might be a coil, but I am beginning to think it might be a carburetor problem.
