Hi
My old Murray tractor rusted to pieces, and I replaced it with a younger Craftsman LT 1500 riding tractor mower.
The lower crankase seal leaks a lot and makes the belt slip.
I thought it had a kohler engine because there is a kohler oil filter on it, but it seems the engine is built by MTD.
I want to get the seal locally and am having trouble finding it.
the part # from the owners manual is: lower Crankshaft Oil Seal 951-11375
Does anyone know how I can get a replacement part # from another oem manufacturer that my local dealer may carry?
Thanks

Appears to be a common TC35x52x7.5 seal.

Hi,
I don't have access to the dimensions of the seal.
Would it be the same as the lower seal for a kawasaki FH680V ?
Thanks

951-11375 is an MTD part number
you can order one from lots of places on line, including cub cadet, MTD, troy bilt
or you can order from any local dealer, around here that's farm&fleet or tractor supply

Thanks to everyone that answered with a post.
I removed the leaking seal and it had the numbers that star tech mentioned.
They also happened to be the numbers in the lower crankcase seal of my kawasaki FH680v motor, so I replaced it and stopped the leak.
I cleaned the oil from the pulley but the belt still slips so I ordered a new belt.
Thanks again.
