I removed the grease fitting from the other wheel and was able to screw it into the wheel that lost the fitting. I was lucky that it wasn't stripped.

You can see where the gasket is coming off the cover and that's exactly where the oil was leaking from.

yeah, that's what I remember seeing it NLA before that's why I was thinking RTV. I'm going to give jacks a call and see if they can get it. Not sure what other option I have. I could maybe make a gasket with the sheet of gaskets they sell.

Thanks. There's a little metal tab on the side of the screw. I'm not sure it's able to go all the way in or out. The screw faces the engine side and is not accessible. To access the screw I'll have to remove the intake where the air filter sits on and use some spacers to get the bolts to hold...

Anyone know what this screw is on an exmark metro 36 carburetor. It's right next to the pilot jet. This isn't the exact carb but it's very similar to mine. You can only access the screw when you pull the carb. Thx J

Thanks guys. I'm going to give that a shot. Maybe a little thin layer of rtv on both sides also. The size should work. 10 x 0.03 x 26 inches. I'll have to break out the x-acto knife.
