    AIR PILOT BLEED IS BLOCKED, WILL EITHER BE UNDER A CROSS HEAD SCREW ON TOP THE CARB, REMOVE THE IDLE SPEED SCREW FIRST OR A BLACK PUSH IN JET AGAIN REMOVE THE IDLE SPEED SCREW FIRST TO BE ABLE TO REMOVE IT. IT HAS A VERY TINY HOLE IN IT USE CARB CLEANER AND AIRLINE TO CLEAN IT OUT.

    i should power the solenoid back up, you can do it with a live and earth directly off the battery to test it first if you want too.

    yes, it oes a specific job of limiting heat transfer to the arburettor which can could cause pre ignition

    strip the carburettor fully i bet it is gummed up and has a very distinct smell of stale fuel, maybe quicker and easier to remove and clean fuel tank / hoses then replace the carburettor with a genuine one (i wouldnt waste money on cheap Chinese copies) and i reckon it will fire straight up.
