I have the blades that came with the mower (M143520). Just wondering if the high lift blades, or, mulching blades would be any better? Would like to find one to cut up leaves better than what I have.

Thanks, I found the idle position and adjusted the clearance. Pulls much easier. Now need to replace the rewind spring.

How do you adjust the valves on this trimmer? I have the gauge.

I pointed the fly wheel arrow to the ignition module screw (tdc). Didnt have a feeler gauge so I tightened them down (no movement), and backed the nuts off approximately 1/8”. Still pulls a little hard but not like it was. What else to check for? I ordered a gauge.

I took the plug out and it’s much easier. I’ll get the kit. Valves are pretty loose.

I’ve noticed it’s very hard to crank the engine while pulling the rope. Lot of resistance. You have to really hold it down while trying to start it. Is this normal?

The FS is listed in the 2022 Kawasaki catalog. I have the FS730V.

Is it normal to have to add transaxle fluid to my z540. Both are below add. Only has 282 hrs on the engine. Also app how many ounces to the full mark?

What is the difference between a FR730V, and, a FS730V engine ? Is one more reliable than the other ?

How do you adjust the high idle speed once the throttle lever is at high? Sorry for all the questions.

Looking further I saw the high throttle screw wasn’t touching the speed control lever at all at WOT. Also, the low governor idle speed screw was backed off as well. Is there a preset on these prior to taking it to the dealer? They’re backed up. I had never noticed them before. Basic idle is fine.

Is there an easy way to adjust governor settings? My idle needs adjusting , but, I’m not sure how to do it. I found the idle screw, but, need to adjust high and low governor screws, as they have been messed with.

How do I adjust the idle on my Z540M zero turn ? It has the Kawasaki engine.

I removed the cylinder cover and am concerned about which single screw goes back in the rear offset mounting hole facing the trimmer head. There are two different ones and I don’t want to mess up the threads. The parts diagram shows two possibilities: 1. 503216820 Ihscft screw 2. screw Ihscft...
