You should be aware that old gas is one of the first problems that happens to an engine.Its also one of the easiest to remedy,every couple of months pour it in your fairly full vehicle.Use only ethanol free gas and it will go a whole lot smoother

If the blade spins when you pull the rope,thats not correct.The clutch mechanism is faulty,most likely stuck.As you are aware,its a two step,two button ,to get the blades to engage.Thats what you were describing with hard pull,you were trying to start the motor with all the blade drive systems...

Always run an air cooled engine full throttle.Its designed to pull maximum air ,your really doing more harm by less throttle. Its also a good idea to keep the clippings off and around the engine and transaxle.

I think your good to go,but you could wiggle blade from beneath to check bearings, take off blade and inspect for balance,and if your at all worried,I use a temp gun periodically on my bearings,overkill for sure but chasing parts and service is not something I enjoy

There is a torque value ,but it sounds like maybe that wasn't followed. I believe you'll have to carefully split the nut and then clean the threads.Be careful on reinstalling, torque wrench so you get an idea how tight is correct. Most guys,way overtighten these,you don't need to do this.Sounds...

I use Interstate Battery, and never let a battery run down and freeze.Invest in a battery maintainer and volt meter.Keep the connections clean and tight ,the battery from jumping around.
